We are currently recruiting for a Telecoms Manager to lead our busy 24/7  Switchboard Team. 

This is an excellent career development opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who wishes to pursue a senior management career in the NHS.  You will need to have  experience of working in a busy Switchboard environment including analogue and VOIP telephony systems, pager system as well as the ability to manage a busy workload and to prioritise.

You should be able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and communication skills and have the ability to forge and maintain relationships with a variety of clinical and non-clinical staff, the ability to build, develop and lead effective teams, work to tight deadlines with a ‘can do’ attitude.

The role will need strong leadership abilities as well as technical knowledge and skill, and you must have excellent interpersonal skills, being able to inspire individuals and lead a team.
As the Telecoms Manager, you will be the contact point for all Team Members, so your communication skills should be excellent.  You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth Team Operations and effective collaboration.

Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the Team to achieve goals.
